I've always loved to draw ever since I was a young kid. In my teens, I spent my spare time creating fansites for my favorite musicians and actors.
My love for design evolved throughout high-school and while taking college courses. I taught myself Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver because I was so eager to create websites.
While attending Chico State University, I worked at the school's newspaper, resulting in my proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
As it seems, my love for nature and animals is reflected in my work. My design style evolved along with the evolution of web design, showcasing current design trends and web efficiency with new browsers and smart phones.
I worked with Chico State University's newspaper called The Orion as an Advertising and Editorial Designer. My duties included creating typographic and illustration designs for local small businesses as well as designing artwork for front page sections.
I am currently employed with Stark Marketing as their web designer. My role tasks me to design layouts, graphics and interactive media as well as helping to secure new business.
I realized that not many people have 'Iana' as their first name. I thought about naming my website 'Iana's World' as opposed to what it is now.
My intention is to create a fantasized atmosphere in a world called Iana, therefore it was crucial to drop the possessive mark in the phrase 'Iana's World'.
